Softball 2016 Season Tickets Now On Sale

Season tickets for Sam Houston's 2016 home softball games are on sale now both online and at the Bearkat athletic ticket office.
Sam Houston opens its home schedule on Friday, February 19 against Prairie View A&M in a 3 p.m. doubleheader. The Bearkats also will host Baylor Wednesday, February 24 and Texas A&M Wednesday March 9 in non-conference action.
Reserved seat season tickets cost $60 and include all 15 events at the Bearkat Softball Complex. Doubleheaders are included as one ticket for both games.
General admission season tickets are $40.
Sam Houston's Southland Conference home schedule starts with a series versus McNeese State Friday and Saturday March 11-12. Other home league series pit the Kats against Northwestern State March 25-26, Southeastern Louisiana April 1-2, Houston Baptist April 15-16, and Incarnate Word April 29-30.
The season ticket packages also include non-conference tilts with Texas Southern March 29 and Louisiana-Monroe March 30.
Sam Houston returns nine letter-winners from last year's squad including All-Southland Conference catcher Tiffany Castillo and infielder Dani Allen.
A new state-of-the-art video/scoreboard will bring extra excitement to the games at the Bearkat Softball Complex this spring.
Head coach Bob Brock stands only seven wins away from his 1,100th victory as an NCAA Division I softball coach. The veteran of 31 seasons of coaching ranks eighth among NCAA Division I active softball coaches in career victories.
