Prize week underway Friday

As Sam Houston State football returns to the field this week, the Athletic Ticket Office is looking to Grow the Growl and give away prizes each day during the first full week of fall camp. The Bearkats return to the field this Friday to prepare for the 2016 season. Prize week will run this Friday through next Friday (Aug. 12) with great prizes to be given away each day.
A season ticket holder is a valued supporter of Sam Houston State Athletics, and we want you on board! Season ticket holders purchase reserved tickets for all the regular season games at Bowers Stadium and also receive tickets to the Battle of the Piney Woods at NRG Stadium. The dedication and support of season ticket holders creates an enthusiastic and exciting environment that helps lead the Bearkats to victory.
“Season tickets are the life blood of our football program,” Sam Houston head coach K. C. Keeler said. “The support we get from our hometown fans makes a big difference down on the field.”
Purchasing season tickets should be viewed as more than a monetary transaction; it's a commitment to the team and the University. Our most committed fans allow Sam Houston State to carry the banner of the Southland Conference on both a regional and national level.
During prize week the first five accounts to purchase each day will receive an autographed football and each day one lucky new season ticket holder will be selected for that day's prize.

- Friday, August 5 – $100 Academy Gift Card
- Saturday, August 6 – Two (2) Tickets to a Houston Texans Game (Game Date TBD)
- Sunday, August 7 – Two (2) Bearkat Men's and Women's Basketball Season Tickets
- Monday, August 8 – Two (2) Piney Woods Pre Game Sideline Passes
- Tuesday, August 9 – Two (2) Sam Houston State Bearkat Polos
- Wednesday, August 10 – Two (2) Bearkat Baseball Season Tickets
- Thursday, August 11 – Four (4) - 2016 Bearkat Football Away-Game Tickets of Choice
- Friday, August 12 – $50 Barefoot Gift Card
