HUNTSVILLE – The Bearkat Champions Baseball Club is set to return to Don Sanders Stadium for the highly-anticipated 2017 Sam Houston State season.
Fans can enjoy Bearkat baseball with a reserved chairback seat and access to the club area featuring a complimentary buffet, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages along with access to a selection of beer and wine for purchase.
Cost of the Bearkat Baseball Champions Club pass and reserved chairback season ticket is only $850 per ticket. The Bearkat Champions Baseball Club will be open for 23 of the 34 games at Don Sanders Stadium while the season ticket purchase includes the reserved chairback for all 34 home games.
This added amenity has enhanced the game day experience for Sam Houston fans and creates a tougher atmosphere for opposing teams with the club seating located behind the visitor's dugout.
Each Bearkat Baseball Champions Club pass purchase includes a $300 contribution to the Bearkat Champions Fund. That contribution earns priority points for the season ticket holder while enhancing the Bearkat Baseball program that has advanced to the NCAA regionals four of the last five years.
Sam Houston baseball enters the 2017 season boasting its first top-25 preseason ranking in program history. The Bearkats, who return eight positional starters and the entire weekend rotation, are ranked No. 23 by Collegiate Baseball newspaper.
The Bearkats are the defending Southland Conference regular season and tournament champions. Sam Houston has advanced to seven NCAA Regionals over the last 10 seasons including last year's appearance in the 2016 NCAA Lafayette Regional.
