Baseball, softball times adjusted on Friday

HUNTSVILLE – Due to the threat of possible strong storms in the afternoon/evening, the Friday start times of both Sam Houston State baseball and softball have been changed to 11 a.m.
SOFTBALL
Sam Houston's series with Central Arkansas will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with the goal being to complete both games of the double-header. In the event of completing both games Friday, the Saturday start time of 3:00 p.m. will remain unchanged. If only one game is completed, or one game plus a partial/suspended game, play will resume at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. In this scenario, the second game would begin 30 minutes after completion of the first game.
BASEBALL
Sam Houston's series vs. Buffalo will continue on Friday with an 11:00 a.m. start time with the goal to play a complete game. If the game is completed on Friday, the Saturday start time of 3:00 p.m. will remain unchanged. If the game is not completed on Friday, play will resume at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. In this scenario, the second game would begin 45 minutes after completion of the first game.
