Kats remain 8th at Hawk Classic

On the second day of the Hawk Classic, the Bearkat bowlers failed to move up the standings, remaining in 8th place in the 17-team event.
The Kats will face off against Monmouth on Sunday after going 6-3 in the first two days of competition.
“Crosses are everything for a successful weekend and consistency with transition but we have to maintain our poise when the lanes get a little tight especially mid-day,” said head coach Brad Hagen. “This team has what it takes to compete at a high level but we can't lose sight of that and trust in one's ability as well as each other is key.”
Ketelyn Dickerson led the way individually for the Bearkats with a 209 average, placing her 10th among 111 bowlers. Her high game of 234 came in the final match of the day. Tacey Ballen had the top game of the day for the Bearkats with a 244.
