Alberto fires 4-under to take lead at Texas State

Hanna Alberto shot a 36-hole score of 4-under par on Monday to take the lead at the Texas State Invitational. She opened the day with a 70 and then shot a 68 to take the lead for the afternoon round.
Jenna Phillips fired a tournament-best 67 in the opening round and is two shots back in third place heading into Tuesday's final round at the par 71 Plum Creek Course.
As a team the Kats sit in 8th place overall in the 16-team event. They opened the day with a 292 and then shot a 291. They are currently 15-over for the tournament, 14 shots back of first-place UTSA.
