Phillips leads at Husky Invitational

HOUSTON - With two rounds in the books at the HBU Husky Invitational, Jenna Phillips leads by two strokes with 18 holes remaining.
Teammate Hanna Alberto is in second and the Kats as a team trail HBU by one stroke heading in to Tuesday's final round.
Phillips fired rounds of 72 and 74 and currently is 2-over for the tournament. Her 72 was a team low round and was the second-best round on Monday.
As a team, the Kats shot rounds of 304 and 305 and are 33-over par. The second round score was the best team mark in the afternoon round.
Alberto opened the day with a 75 and the bounced back with a 73 on the second 18. Her second round score was the low round on the afternoon, moving her into a tie for second place.
The Kats will conclude the event Tuesday morning.
