COLLEGE STATION — Fabian McCall finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.81 seconds to highlight action for the Sam Houston State men's and women's track teams at the Texas A&M Twilight Saturday.

The men's 4x400 relay team of Ethan Woods, Cameron Brown, Joe Austin III and Joshua Smith captured second with a mark of 3:11.99, and Clayton Fritsch also took second place in the pole vault with a height of 5.55 meters.

Bryan Henderson placed third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.20.

Caleb Jolivette had the fourth-best time in the 60-meter dash with a mark of 6.87. Eric Callaway finished eighth in the 200 with a time of 21.51.

Austin Zirkel placed seventh in the 3,000-meter run at 8:49.88, and David Zavla was 14^th in the mile with a time of 4:28.99.

In other field events, Steven Gruss was sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.94 meters. Stanley Williams placed ninth in the long jump at 6.74 meters, and Tanner Day was 13^th at 6.43 and he also placed 12^th in the shot put with a mark of 11.35 meters.

Morgan Janda captured fifth in the high jump with a height of 1.62 meters on the women's side. Selena Wright placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.74 seconds.

Monique Spruill finished 14^th in the mile with a time of 5:22.90.
