BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION — The Sam Houston men's cross country team had two runners finish in the top 20 to highlight action at the Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M on Saturday.

Andrew Bosquez placed 10^th out of 265 competitors for the Bearkats with a time of 23:55.2 on the 8k course. Christian Rivera finished 18^th with a mark of 24:05.4.

Kyan Wallace came in 112^th with a time of 25:27.1, Eduardo Gutierrez was 118^th at 25:30.8, Elijah McWilliams was 138^th at 25:48.0, Colton Stunkard was 140^th at 25:50.9, Austin Zirkel was 146^th at 25:58.6, Mario Ruiz was 194^th at 26:47.5 and Williams Boyce was 200^th at 26:55.9.

On the women's 6k course, Cryslan Tucker was the Bearkat's top finisher in 71^st place with a time of 22:01.3. Rebeca Gonzalez placed 95^th with a time of 22:18.9.

Ellie Galan was 160^th with a time of 23:31.8, Haley Thomas was 171^st at 23:41.7, Sandy Clarkin was 204^th at 24:21.6 and Haley Garza was 243^rd at 25:43.6.
