Chambers named Bowler of the Month

After a stellar month of November on the lanes, senior Elise Chambers was named the Southland Bowling League Bowler of the Month.

Chambers was named the MVP of the Hawk Classic, topping the field in scoring with a 225 average. Her game high of the weekend was a 278 to lead the Bearkats. Her efforts paid off in the championship match as the Kats knocked off Vanderbilt in a seven-game match.

At the Track Kat Klash, she helped the team to a 12-1 record and second-place finish.

For the month of November, Chambers was a big part of the team posting a 23-3 record.

This award marks her first of the season and second of her career.

The Bearkats closed out the first half of the season with a 33-5 record.
