With play suspended in the second round of the Border Olympics in Laredo, thee Bearkat men's golfers are in fourth place.

The Bearkats (8-over par) trail leaders Texas A&M (GolfStat ranked No. 28) by just four strokes heading into Tuesday's conclusion. In an 18-team field that includes No. 9 Texas (6-over), No. 13 Baylor (19-over) and No. 43 Kent State (18-oveer), the Bearkats have remained near the top of the team standings.

Individually, William Holcomb is in a tie for 5^th place at 1-under for the tournament. He opened the day shooting a 71, and was even par on round two with two holes remaining when play stopped.

Paul Chaplet is in a tie for 15^th at 2-over for the tournament. After an opening round 73, he is even par with two holes to play in round two. Grayson Blunt and Jack Randle are both tied for 24^th at 5-over and Luis Carerra is a shot back in 33^rd.

The second round will conclude Tuesday morning before the third and final round.
