ARLINGTON – Saturday at the PVU Invitational shaped up to be one of the toughest single days of competition the Kats will see all season. In five matches, the top ranked Kats faced five teams ranked inside the top 7 in the country.Â

"After settling down we had some big sets and we got some quality wins against very good opponents," said head coach Brad Hagen. "Our schedule was brutal today but I'm happy we didn't get too distracted by the perception and we focused on what we could control. Anytime you go through the top 7 in the country and come out ahead it's a win."
