Kats to host Bearkat Invitational over weekend

HUNTSVILLE – The Sam Houston tennis team will be in action on its home courts over the weekend when it wraps up the fall season by hosting the Aramark Bearkat Invitational at the McAdams Tennis Center.

The event was originally scheduled to begin on Friday, but the start of play was pushed back to Saturday due to the likelihood of inclement weather in the Huntsville area.

Play is set to begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning, weather permitting. Admission will be free to all those interested in attending.

The Kats will be joined by opponents from Tyler Junior College, Lamar, Northwestern State and UTSA with draws set to be released prior to the start of play.
