HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston will be looking for its first win of the season when the Bearkats host a pair of games early next week at Pritchett Field.
 
The Kats (0-3) will host former Houston Baptist foe Houston Baptist on Sunday at 1 p.m. Sam Houston welcomes Louisiana Tech to Huntsville on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. tilt.
 
The Bearkats are coming off a 2-1 loss at home to Houston on Aug. 28. The Cougars jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals in the 41^st and 46^th minutes.
 
Sam Houston cut the lead when transfer Kailey Pena scored the team's first goal of the season in the 67^th minute. The Bearkats just couldn't get the equalizer in the final 23 minutes.
