HUNTSVILLE — Sam Houston will be looking for its first win of the season when the Bearkats host a pair of games early next week at Pritchett Field.
The Kats (0-3) will host former Houston Baptist foe Houston Baptist on Sunday at 1 p.m. Sam Houston welcomes Louisiana Tech to Huntsville on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. tilt.
The Bearkats are coming off a 2-1 loss at home to Houston on Aug. 28. The Cougars jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals in the 41st and 46th minutes.
Sam Houston cut the lead when transfer Kailey Pena scored the team's first goal of the season in the 67th minute. The Bearkats just couldn't get the equalizer in the final 23 minutes.
