NACOGDOCHES — The Sam Houston soccer squad could not muster any offense in a 1-0 loss to Stephen F. Austin on Friday evening.
The Bearkats (1-6-1) dropped to 0-3 in Western Athletic Conference play after failing to score for the third straight match. The Ladyjacks (2-8-1 overall, 1-2 in WAC) picked up their first conference win.

Tatum Krueger had a solid night in the net for Sam Houston. She finished seven saves, but SFA was able to score the game winner in the 58
th minute by Teia Haynes.

Landri Townsend, who just missed scoring an equalizer in the second half that hit off the post.
Sam Houston stays on the road to face UTRGV on Sunday at noon in Edinburg.
