Â
The Wolverines (8-17, 2-4) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but it did not last very long.

Haleigh Carter added an RBI single and the other two runs came on an error and on a throw down to second on a steal attempt that allowed Carter to cross the plate.
Â
Wasik tacked on another run with a solo home run to left field, and Emily Telg brought the crowd to its feet when she laced a ball down the right field line for an inside the park home run to make it 8-2 in the third.
