HUNTSVILLE— The Sam Houston softball team will be back at home to face a familiar opponent when Abilene Christian University comes to Bearkat Softball Complex for a weekend series.  

This will be the 34th all-time meeting between the Bearkats and the Wildcats with Sam Houston leading the record 20-13. The last time ACU came to Huntsville was in 6-5 victory on April 29, 2023 when both were members of the Western Athletic Conference. 

The weekend series will open with a doubleheader on Friday with the first game set to start at 4 p.m. with the second to follow. Saturday's series finale will be played at noon.
