HUNTSVILLE— The Sam Houston Bearkats will host New Mexico State for weekend series at the Bearkat Softball Complex.

Saturday 3/16 - 3:30 pm 
Sunday 3/17 - 12:30 pm 

Sam Houston is coming off a doubleheader sweep against Texas A&M Commerce on Tuesday. The Bearkats hit seven home runs between the two games.  

The Kats trail the all-time series 2-6 with the last matchup ending in 7-4 victory in Las Cruses last season. Sam Houston will be looking to notch its first-ever win in Conference USA against its former WAC rival. 

The Bearkats are 0-3 in league play following a series at Louisiana Tech to open CUSA action. The Bulldogs topped the Bearkats 7-5 in the opener, 5-1 and 2-1.
