HUNTSVILLE — The Sam Houston women's basketball team aims to secure its first Conference USA win of the season as it hosts Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State this weekend at Johnson Coliseum.
The Bearkats return home after road losses to Liberty and FIU last week. Following a strong start to the 2024-25 season, Sam Houston hopes to regain momentum as it faces Kennesaw State, which enters Thursday's matchup 0-3 in conference play.
Thursday's game is set to tip off at 6:30 p.m. against Kennesaw State, marking the first meeting between the programs as the Owls enter their inaugural season in Conference USA.
Saturday's game will tip off at 2 p.m. against Jacksonville State. This will be the third all-time meeting between the Bearkats and the Gamecocks, with Sam Houston seeking its first win after falling in last season's CUSA matchups.
Both games will stream on ESPN+ and can be followed via StatBroadcast.
