Kats will close out 2025 season in Saint Mary's Invitational

SEASIDE, Calif. – The Sam Houston golf team close out the 2025 fall season in the Saint Mary's Invitational, beginning Monday, at Bayonet Golf Course.
 
The event, hosted by Saint Mary's, will consist of 54 holes and is a three-day tournament with 18 holes being played each day.
 
This 7,044-yard, par 72 tournament has been played since 2006. The course features narrow fairways with trees surrounding the rough and bunkers along the greens. This is the first time that the Bearkats have taken in the event.
 
The tournament consists of 16 teams including Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Cal Poly, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Nevada, Pacific, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Texas State, UC Santa Barbara, UT Arlington, and Washington State.
 
Live scoring will be via Scoreboard by Clippd with updating scores throughout the round as well as the results at the end of each day.
 
The Bearkats will play alongside Santa Barbara, Nevada, and Long Beach. The first Kat will tee off at 9:54 a.m. CT, with the final Kats going off at 10:18 a.m.
