WEST POINT, Miss. – The Sam Houston women's golf team head into the final day of The Ally in ninth at 18 over par after 36 holes of play at the Old Waverly Golf Course.
 
The Bearkats shot +13 in round one and +5 to cap off the day. Francesca Sumcad led the Kats with five birdies in the second round to fire off 74-69. Bomyeong Lee shot 74 in the first round and even par with five birdies in the second to be +2.
 
Amelia Guo shot 74 and later had four birdies to shoot 73. Gracie Heinle shot consistently with matching rounds of 79. Shanna Sandoval shot 85-82 on her scorecard. Victoria Renzi competes as an individual shooting 90-78.
