German earns CUSA all-academic honors

DALLAS – League officials from Conference USA announced the 2024-25 Men's Golf All-Academic Teams on Thursday with Sam Houston senior Josh German earning the honors for his work in the classroom and on the course. Â

For consideration of CUSA's All-Academic team, five selections are made from eight member institutions and nominees must have 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher.

German currently carries a 3.84 GPA in Business Administration – PGA Golf Management and has several top-20 finishes on the season including his nineteenth-place finish at the Bearkat Invitational and sixteenth place at the GitRDone Inviational.

The Bearkats concluded its play in the regular season and next will travel to Texarkana, Ark. for the 2025 CUSA Men's Golf Championships at the Texarkana Country Club. This four-day tournament will begin Monday, April 21 and last through Thursday, April 24.Â
