HUNTSVILLE – Sam Houston will host its final Conference USA series of the season this weekend, welcoming LA Tech to Bearkat Softball Complex. 

Each game can be followed on StatBroadcast with Saturday and Sunday being streamed on ESPN+.  

The Bearkats (25-26, 12-12 CUSA) are looking to secure a spot in the conference tournament as they face Louisiana Tech, who currently sits third in the league standings. 

Sam Houston trails the all-time series 12-18, with the last matchup resulting in a 2-1 loss in Ruston, Louisiana. The Bulldogs swept that three-game series. 

After being swept last weekend at Jax State, the Bearkats will need a series win to lock in a spot in the six-team CUSA Tournament, which will be held in Bowling Green, Kentucky, next week.
