Kats off and rolling at Music City Classic

SMYRNA, Tenn. — Sam Houston is off to another solid start at the Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt on Friday.
The Bearkats went 4-1 on day one of the competition and currently stand in second place with 5,338 total pins. Jax State is leading with 5,565 pins while Vanderbilt is third (5,254) followed by UAB (5,178), Arkansas State (5,154), North Carolina A&I (5,118), Wichita State (4,978), Louisiana Tech (4,977), Niagra (4,958) and Sacred Heart (4,956) round out the top 10.
Sam Houston will try to position itself for one of the top seeds in the championship bracket when day two gets underway Saturday at Smyrna Bowl.
