HUNTSVILLE – The Sam Houston Bearkats will look to keep the Don Sanders Cup in Huntsville on Tuesday when it hosts Houston in the rubber match of the annual Don Sanders Cup series.
Tuesday's game can each be watched on ESPN+ with Matt Pedersen and Kyle Rogers on the call, along with Jason Barfield on the sideline.

Â
The Kats and Cougars have split the first two meetings of the series this year with each winning on the other's home field. For Sam Houston, it's 5-2 win in Houston on March 3 was its first on the Cougars' home field since 2017.
Â
A victory would give the Kats' the edge in the series for the second straight year and be the first time they have held the Cup in consecutive years since 2017 and 2018, the first two playings of the series.
Â
The teams are coming off opposite weekends with Houston winning its first Big 12 series of the season last weekend, taking the first two games at Texas Tech. Sam Houston, meanwhile, has now dropped five in a row after being swept at Missouri State over Easter weekend.
Â
Ryan  Franden and Cade Corcoran continue to lead the offense and carry strong streaks into Tuesday. Franden hit in all three games in Springfield and is currently riding a career-best 10-game hit streak, while Corcoran has reached base in 21 straight contests, the longest by a Bearkat freshman since 2024.
