As a freshman, participated as an individual in UTSA/Oak Hills Invitational posting rounds of 81-79-82.

Foley posted top 10 finishes in three major junior events in 2014. He was the runner-up at the TJGT Holiday Classic at Barton Creek (73-72-74—219) and tenth in both the AJGA Senior Boys Championship (73-73—146) and TJGT Golf Club of Houston event. He also placed 11th at the TJGT-TPC Four Seasons and OJGT/TJGT-Red River Team Challenge tournaments. His senior year at The Woodlands Foley won the 2015 Woodlands Vern Edwards varsity high school champion and was runner-up at both the District 16-6A Preview tournament and the Magnolia Shootout. Foley finished fourth in the individual medalists standings at the Class 6A Region II championships to help his team advance to the Texas Class 6A state tournament. He finished 27th individually at the state finals.
