Lynne Fishler, a top international student-athlete from Ramat Gan, Israel, will look to make her senior campaign for the Bearkats a remarkable one.  Lynne has paved her own way from year one and now looks to be a more viable resource for the Bearkats as well as a senior leader.

Lynne has represented her youth Israeli national team since she was 12 years old and has been a constant contributor to her countries success especially over the last 5 years as a member of the Adult National Team for Israel.  Lynne is coming off a career best top 16 finish at the Women’s European Championships in 2018, and a solid showing at the Women’s World Championships this past August in Las Vegas.

“Lynne is a talented young lady who has competed at a high level internationally for her country,” Bearkat coach Brad Hagen said. “Her competitive experiences to date and her work ethic will play intricate roles in her future success.”

As a junior this past season, Fishler helped lead the Bearkats to their first Southland Conference Championship and a bid to the NCAA Championships for the 8thtime in the program’s nine years.  Fishler was huge contributor in the Championships match against Vanderbilt delivering some key marks to help the Kats capture their first SBL Championship.
