2014 Sophomore Season -- Played in all 19 games including 11 starts ... put Sam Houston ahead 2-0 on Nicholls with a goal in the 84th minute of season finale ... registered one assist ... helped the Bearkat defense to five shutouts over the final six regular season games.
2013 Freshman Season -- Started all 21 games in the heart of the defense as a true freshman ... led the team with 1,916 minutes played ... scored from the penalty spot in the season-opening win over Texas Southern ... Bennett was on the field for the entire duration of 18-of-21 games ... anchored the defense that had the third most shut outs in the league ... contributed to shut outs against McNeese State, Central Arkansas, A&M-Corpus Christi, Houston Baptist, and Nicholls (Southland Tournament) ... provided consistency in a back-four that was ravaged by injuries.
