Jones appeared in 13 games, making 13 starts at forward … led the Bearkats with five goals and 11 points … second-team All-Southland Conference selection … had one assist and 11 shots on goal … had the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on 3/21 … scored the game-tying goal in a 4-3 overtime victory upset of No. 2 Lamar in the opening round of the Southland Conference Tournament … All-SLC Tournament team selection.

2019 Season
Jones appeared in 19 matches, making 12 starts as a freshman. She scored three goals and had two assists for eight points. She took 24 shots, 16 of which were on goal. She scored two goals in a 3-2 loss at UIW on Oct. 25. She scored the first goal in a 5-0 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sept. 6.

A three-year letterwinner at Aledo High School, Jones comes to Sam Houston after a successful career with the Lady Cats ... led her team to an area championship her freshman year and raked in first-team all-district and Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors ... won the team’s offensive newcomer award and picked up all-district academic recognition ... As a sophomore, Jones led her team to a district championship and a state championship finals appearance ... played with Dallas Texans Black as a freshman and sophomore, Dallas Texans DA as a junior and is a current member of the Solar premiere league.
