Played in all 14 games, including the 84^th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic … Recorded 48 tackles (34 solo) … Tied his career-high with three TFL for a career-high 15 yards … First TFL of the season came against Southern … Also recorded a TFL against Penn State in the Cotton Bowl … Logged a career-high two sacks for 14 yards … Recorded a season-high seven tackles twice, first against Navy and then two games later at Temple … Had 12 multi-tackle performances.
 
2018 Season
Played in all 14 games, including the Birmingham Bowl ... Made three starts ... Logged 60 total stops (40 solo) ... Sixth on team in total tackles ... Tied for fifth on the squad in solo hits ... Had 10 multi-tackle performances ... Posted career-highs for total tackles (11) and solo stops (7) at Navy ... Followed Navy game with seven-tackle performance (6 solo) vs Georgia State ... Made six solo tackles at Missouri ... Tied a career-high with one QB hurry at SMU ... Registered eight total tackles (3 solo) vs UCF in The American Championship Game ... 2017 Season
Saw action in all 13 games, including the AutoZone Liberty Bowl … Made 10 starts … Got first collegiate start at UCF … Credited with 49 total tackles (29 solo), 3.0 TFL (9 yards) and one sack (5 yards) … Also had two forced fumbles, two QB hurries, one interception and one PBU … Made his collegiate debut in the season opener vs ULM … Had seven total stops (6 solo) vs the Warhawks … The six solo hits were a season-high … Also had his first collegiate forced fumble vs Louisiana Monroe … Logged his first collegiate interception and PBU in the home win over UCLA … Returned his interception 60 yards for a score midway through the third quarter vs UCLA … The TD gave Memphis a 41-31 lead … Registered his first career QB hurry in a home win over Southern Illinois … Picked up second career forced fumble in the home victory over Navy … Caused the miscue early in the fourth quarter, and the turnover led to a Memphis FG for a 30-19 lead (Tigers won 30-27) … Posted his first collegiate sack in a road win at Tulsa … Logged a season-high eight total stops (5 solo) vs Iowa State in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

Ranked the No. 19 recruit in Tennessee by both Rivals.com and ESPN.com … Played for head coach Bobby Alston at Memphis University School … Helped lead the Owls to a 7-4 overall record and a Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division II Class AA state playoffs quarterfinal appearance … Appeared in eight of 12 games in 2015, missing four due to injury … Despite missing four games, still finished third on the team with 77 tackles to go along with 10 TFL and three sacks … Served as a team captain his senior season … Earned 2015 Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) All-State Division II-AA honors at linebacker … Played in the 2016 Offense-Defense All-American Senior Bowl in Florida in January 2016 … Also named to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl High School All-Star Game … Also had offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri and Tennessee.
