Austin (10/5), including a fourth-quarter strip sack that set up the Bearkats’ final score, clinching their ninth straight win over the Lumberjacks … had 3 TFL and a forced fumble against Lamar (10/12) … had a TFL at Central Arkansas (10/26) and 1.5 TFLs in road win at Abilene Christian (11/9).

2018 Season
Became a key force for the Red Raiders in the middle of the defensive line … appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt sophomore with seven starts from nose tackle … closed the season with 37 tackles, including four for a loss, resulting in 19 yards …finished tied for ninth on the team in tackles and tied for second among defensive linemen ... two of those tackles for a loss were credited as sacks (15 yards) … added a quarterback hurry and a forced fumble … recorded two or more tackles in eight different games … began the year with two tackles in the season opener versus Ole Miss (9/1) in Houston … followed with four tackles, including one for a loss, and a quarterback hurry in a blowout win over Lamar (9/8) … recorded a then-career high five tackles against Houston (9/15) … racked up another two tackles in the Big 12 opener against Oklahoma State (9/22) … had four tackles and forced a fumble in the Thursday night road win at TCU (10/11) … forced fumble came on a key 4-and-1 play midway through the second quarter, giving the ball back to the Red Raiders ... tallied four tackles and a sack at Iowa State (10/27) … sack came on the final play of the first quarter ... closed the home slate with two tackles against Oklahoma (11/3) and one takedown versus Texas (11/10) … recorded a career-high six tackles in back-to-back weeks to round out the season versus Kansas State (11/17) and Baylor (11/24) … had a tackle for a loss in both games, which included an eight-yard sack at Kansas State.
2017 Season
Redshirt season … did not play … key member of the scout team … impressed during Texas Tech’s weekly Thursday night scrimmage between younger players on the roster.
2016 Season
Appeared in eight games as a true freshman … logged 10 tackles (seven solo), including three that went for a loss … had a quarterback hurry and fumble recovery as well … made Red Raider debut with a season-high two tackles against Stephen F. Austin (9/3) … also posted a tackle for a loss and a quarterback hurry in the season-opening win … matched his season high with a pair of tackles against both Louisiana Tech (9/17) and Texas (11/5) … had another tackle for a loss against Louisiana Tech as well as Iowa State … finished with one tackle against the Cyclones as well as TCU (10/29), Oklahoma State (11/12) and Baylor (11/25) … recovered first career fumble in Big 12 opener against Kansas (9/29).
