Hayden Evans is back for his third season with the Bearkats, including his second season as the Bearkats' Director of Operations. He also served as a volunteer assistant coach in 2022.
Evans played collegiately at Southeastern Oklahoma where he hit .242 over two seasons with five home runs and 23 RBI.
Prior to Southeastern, Evans started his collegiate career at Angelina College in Lufkin.
The Cy Ranch product played for coach John Pope in high school in Cypress, Texas and was a four-year letterman, 2015 state champion, 2017 district MVP and first-team all-state shortstop.
He graduated from Southeastern in 2022 with a degree in recreational sports management.
