Made 14 appearances on the season, including a pair of starts ... posted a 5.25 overall ERA in 24.0 innings of work ... but was at his best out of the bullpen, posting a 3.26 ERA as a reliever with 19 strikeouts and only 6 walks in 19.1 relief innings ... struck out 2 in 2.2 innings of scoreless relief in debut vs UTSA (2/26) ... threw a total of 3.0 scoreless innings in games at Baylor (3/2) and in upset of No. 13 TCU (3/7) at the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park ... struck out 5 without allowing a run in 3.0 innings of 1-hit relief against Texas A&M (4/6) to pick up the win ... allowed just 1 run in 4.1 innings against Baylor (4/13)

2020 Season
Did not see any action ... was likely to use redshirt season before year was shortened due to COVID-19.

Angelina College
Took part in Texas/New Mexico all-star game ... went 3-1 in 10 appearances in 2019 ... pitched 45.1 innings with 42 strikeouts and a 4.17 ERA in 2019.

Weimar High School
Two-time first team all-state at two positions by the TSWA ... second team all-state by the THSBCA ... district MVP ... first team all-district ... first team all-area by the Victoria Advocate ... THSBCA all-star selection ... district offensive MVP ... led Class 2A with 0.67 ERA as a senior.

Personal
Grandfather, Carroll Sembera, was a MLB relief pitcher ... played three seasons for the Houston Astros and two seasons for the Montreal Expos ... made MLB debut for the Astros in 1965.
