All-CUSA First Team ... named CUSA Pitcher of the Week on 2/19 after earning first win of the season and 20th of his career on Opening Night when he punched out 6 without a walk with only 2 runs - 1 earned - allowed in 5.0 innings vs Oklahoma State (2/16) ... earned second CUSA Pitcher of the Week honor on 3/18 after stellar performance at NM State where he set career bests with 8.0 innings 9 strikeouts ... that 9-strikeout performance pushed him past the 200-strikeout plateau for his career, becoming the ninth Bearkat in program history to surpass 200 career strikeouts.
2023 Season
Second Team All-WAC selection ... made 17 starts, throwing 84.1 innings for the Bearkats with a 4.80 ERA … led the team with 9 wins and 70 strikeouts ... got the win and propelled the Bearkats in the 2023 WAC Tournament Championship by throwing 6.0 innings of 1-run ball with 6 strikeouts against Utah Valley (5/27) ... threw 7.0 shutout innings with 7 strikeouts against Iowa on 2/24 in the 2023 Karbach Round Rock Classic … got the ball on Opening Night and went 5.0 innings of 2-run ball against Rhode Island (2/17) … threw a season high 7.1 innings with 8 strikeouts in a win over Seattle U (3/10) … tossed a 7-inning complete game against UT Arlington (5/12)

Preseason all-WAC selection ... made 14 appearances with 11 starts as a sophomore ... went 4-0 with a 6.37 ERA and 51 strikeouts in 53.2 innings pitched ... had a season-high 7 strikeouts in consecutive starts to open the season against Nebraska (2/19) and at Dallas Baptist (2/27) ... went 6.0 innings against the Huskers for the win, allowing just 1 unearned run on 4 hits ... threw at least 5.0 innings in 4 of his last 5 starts ... got the win and punched out 6 hitters at Tarleton (4/23) ... struck out 5 and allowed just 2 hits in 5.0 scoreless innings of a key win over Abilene Christian (5/21) in the final season of the year
