Played in all 12 games as a true freshman for the Kats … hauled in 31 grabs for 513 yards and five touchdowns … also rushed for 120 yards … fifth in SLC with 16.3 yards per catch … one of 19 freshmen in all of FCS with at least 500 receiving yards … averaged 71.9 all-purpose yards per game … had biggest game in win at Abilene Christian (11/9) where he caught eight passes for 197 yards and a pair of scores … that mark was the second most receiving yards by a freshman in FCS in 2019 … hauled in an 80-yard touchdown pass from Eric Schmid to highlight a 6-catch, 119-yard performance in win over UIW (9/21) … was on the receiving end of two touchdown catches by fellow true freshman receiver Noah Smith, the first a 32-yarder go put the Kats ahead over Stephen F. Austin (10/5) and the second coming at ACU … did most of the work on a 47-yard touchdown catch from Ryan Humphries in win over No. 9 Nicholls (10/19) … also had a rushing touchdown in win over Oklahoma Panhandle State (9/7).
