Played in all 14 games and finished the season with 268 all-purpose yards… Rushed for 235 yards on 66 carries (3.6 ypc) and caught five passes for 33 yards (6.6 ypr)… Had a career-high 14 carries for 47 yards at Washington State (9/4) in the season opener, while adding one reception for 10 yards… Rushed for a career-best 57 yards on seven carries, including a career-long run of 41 yards, against Boise State (9/25), to go along with one reception for 12 yards.
2020 Season
Played in five games and finished the season with 147 all-purpose yards as he returned five kickoffs for 118 yards (23.6 ypr), rushed for 33 yards on seven carries (4.7 ypc) and had one reception for minus four yards… Had a season-high four carries against Air Force (12/3) and had a season-long rush of 19 yards against San Diego State (10/31)… All five of his kickoff returns were against the Falcons… Also completed one pass for four yards against New Mexico (11/26)… Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
North Shore High School
Three-star recruit that was rated as the 52nd-best high school running back in the nation according to 247Sports.com… Earned Texas Class 6A first-team all-district honors at wide receiver as a prep senior at North Shore High School in Houston, Texas, as he had 18 receptions and 10 touchdowns... Helped the Mustangs to back-to-back Texas 6A D1 state titles during his junior and senior seasons, and a combined record of 31-1 during that span… North Shore HS climbed as high as No. 4 in the national polls in 2019 according to MaxPreps.com… Earned first-team all-district honors as a junior at running back as he gained over 900 yards and scored 24 touchdowns... In three years of playing varsity football, he totaled 3,586 all-purpose yards and 48 touchdowns as he also returned punts and kickoffs… Also ran track & field and recorded career-best times of 4.56 in the 40 meters and 10.87 in the 100 meters.
