All five victories were three-set matches.

Tatyana Postnikova rallied to defeat Ralitsa Pirdopska 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 at number two singles. Nadia Dubyanskaya won over Tea Tvrtkovic  6-1, 4-6, 6-2 at number three.

Anrinette Botah knocked off Anastasio Surkova  6-1, 5-7, 6-4 in the number four singles match. Sheridan Currie bounced back to defeat  Kwynn Biggs  2-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the fifth position. Natalie Petaia wrapped up
Maria Frausto 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 at number six.

"For such a young team, these girls have a lot of fight in them," head coach Jim Giachino said. "This was a good win for the team."

Currie and Cally Woerner picked up Sam Houston's only victory in doubles, winning at the number two position 8-4.
