Anrinette Botha earned the Bearkats their only point in a 6-1 Southland Conference women's tennis dual match loss to first place UT-Arlington Saturday at the McAdams Tennis Center.

Botha defeated Katarina Micochova 6-4 6-4 in the number five singles match.

The victory keeps the Mavericks undefeated in Southland Conference action. UTA stands 7-0 in league action and has rolled up a 11-4 mark for the season.

The Bearkats drop to 3-3 in Southland play and stand 6-5 for the season.

Sam Houston State plays host to Texas State at 11 a.m. Sunday at the McAdams Courts.
