Title No. 5 for Shelby Hardy

Gulf Shores, Ala -- Senior Shelby Hardy became the all-time "winningest" women's golfer at Sam Houston State Tuesday by bringing home the individual medalist trophy at the Alabama-Birmingham Fall Beach Bash.
The tournament was held Monday and Tuesday at the Penisula Golf Club.
Hardy took medalist honors with a four-over score of 76-72--148.
The tournament victory was the fifth of Hardy's career and her second event win this fall. She also won the Oral Roberts tournament in Tulsa Oct. 2.
Raman Saran previously held the record for most individual tournament championships in a career with four from 2002 to 2005.
Sam Houston fired a team score of 322-305--627. Other Bearkat women scores and finishes were Megan Musk 12th 81-78--159, Jessica Borth 16th 83-77--160, Nicole Budnick 23rd 82-79--161, Jenna Stene 32nd 87-78--165
