Bearkats Finish Eighth at Rice Invitational

Albert Miner finished 14^th individually as the Bearkats placed eighth at the Rice Invitational at Westwood Golf Club.

Miner shot rounds of 71, 73, and 74 on the 7,184 yard par 72 course. The junior was tied for sixth after the first two rounds. He finished eight strokes off the leader.

Justin McKay was 24^th after shooting rounds of 73, 72, and 75. He was ninth going into the final round.

Florida Atlantic's Richard Donegan won the event with rounds of 71, 66, and 73 and led his team to a second-place finish. UTSA won the team title. SFA finished tied for third with the hosts Rice.

Logan Boatner finished tied for 35^th, JT Taylor was tied for 48^th and Dennis Reiner tied for 65^th.
