Women Win at UALR

Led by freshman Nicole Budnik the Bearkat women's golf team won the Arkansas-Little Rock Golf Classic. Four Kats finished in the top 25 at the event played at Diamante Country Club.
Sam Houston State placed first overall with a three-round total of 937 (+73), while Middle Tennessee (938, +74) placed second at just a stroke back. Oral Roberts (947, +83) and Central Arkansas (951, +87) placed third and fourth, respectively.
Budnik finished five shots back of the overall leader at 227 (+11) to place second. Georgia Mundy of North Texas took the top spot amongst individuals with a three-round total of 222 (+6).
Shelby Hardy and Meghan Musk each tied for 10thwith a three-round total of 235. Hardy shot 84-78-73 and Musk shot 84-77-74. Jessica Borth was 23rd (82-83-75-240) and Abigayle Corson was 71st (87-90-82-259).
Next up for the Bearkats is at Houston Baptist April 1st and 2nd.
