Texas A&M hands SHSU its first loss

Number 11-ranked Texas A&M defeated Sam Houston 7-0 in a non-conference women's dual tennis match Sunday afternoon at the A&M Tennis Center in College Station.

The loss was the first of the year for the Bearkats.

Next action for the SHSU women's tennis team will be duels with UTEP and SMU Friday and Saturday, Feb. 28 and March 1, in Dallas.
