White second after two rounds of Islander Classic

Alisa White is in second place heading into the final round of the Islander Classic hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi while the Sam Houston State women's golf team is in ninth place.
White is just two-over par after two rounds of the tournament being played on the par 72, 6,108 yard Corpus Christi Country Club course. The junior transfer shot a first-round 72 and followed that up with a 74 in the second round.
The Hereford, Texas native will be chasing Oklahoma City's Elia Folch (70-73-143) who she trails by just three strokes. The Kats will tee off on holes 7-9, and will be paired with Northern Illinois and Stephen F. Austin.
Lamar sits in first place with a five shot lead over Houston Baptist while Oklahoma City is in third place.
Brooke Fouts (81-79-160) is tied for 46th, Paige Nelson (82-81-163) and Abigayle Corson (83-80-163)
are tied for 54th, and Nicole Budnik (80-85-165) is tied for 58th.
