Caitlyn Mitchell and Mila Milanovich were the runners-up in the number three doubles flight to highlight action for the Bearkat women's tennis team in their first tournament of the 2014 fall schedule Friday and Saturday.
Sam Houston traveled to the Northwestern State Demon Invitational where the Kats combined for seven singles victories and two doubles wins.
Milanovich also defeated Isla Brock of Nicholls 7-5 6-4 to finish third in the number five singles flight.
Caitlyn Mitchell lost to Lauren Dupuis of Louisiana-Lafayette 6-4 6-1 in the third place match in the number six singles flight.
