Maddie Mortimore paired with Mila Milanovic to win at number two doubles and took the number six singles as Sam Houston lost to UTSA 5-2 in a non-conference women's tennis match Friday at the McAdams Tennis Center.

Milanovic and Mortimore defeated Daniela Garcia-Diaz and Mariaa Rosell Canudas for the doubles win 6-3. Mortimore's singles win came over Canudas 7-6 (7-4), 1-6, 1-0 (10-4)

Fabienne Gettwart provided the Bearkats their second point with a 4-6 7-6 (8-6) 1-0 (10-5) victory at number two singles.

Sam Houston women's tennis plays host to Tyler Junior College Saturday at 1 p.m..
