Sam Houston swept doubles and won five of the six singles to earn a 6-1 victory over Tyler Junior College in an exhibition women's tennis match Saturday at the McAdams Tennis Center.

Posting victories at the number two through six singles, respectively, were Fabienne Gettwart, Bailey VanDyke, Mila Milanovic, Karen Martinez and Maddie Mortimore. Milanovic, Martinez and Mortimore all won in straight sets.

Sam Houston takes on UTEP, Northern Colorado and New Mexico State on a road trip to El Paso next weekend as the Bearkats resume their regular season schedule.
