Women?s golf 10th after first day

The Sam Houston women's golf team opened up play at the Little Rock Golf Classic with a team score of 307 to place them 10th in the 16-team event.
They are currently 19-over par and currently sit 12 strokes back of first place UTEP.
Hannah Alberto was the top scorer for the Kats with an opening round 74 to put her in a tie for 11th. Also in the top 20 is Kari Bush who is one stroke back after shooting a 75.
Action continues in the three-day event on Monday before wrapping up Tuesday at Diamante Country Club.
