Alberto leads after two rounds at HBU

Hanna Alberto is in a familiar spot at the HBU Women's Husky Invitational, sitting atop the leader board. After two rounds of play the Sam Houston State women stand in a tie for fifth with 18 holes remaining.
Alberto shot a 67 on Monday afternoon, and is the only golfer under par for the tournament at 3-under. Her 67 was four shots better than the next best round of the day and she will carry a three-shot lead into Tuesday's action.
The Kats shot an opening round of 325, before bouncing back with a 301, the second best round of the day. Despite the round-two turnaround, the Kats still trail leaders HBU and Lamar by 21 shots.
Jenna Phillips is 25th overall and carded a hole in one.
The final round will begin Tuesday morning from Blackhorse Golf Club.
