Women's golf finishes third in Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The women's golf team took third place at the UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville on Tuesday. The Kats shot a final round score of 303 and finished 8 shots behind tournament champions North Florida.

Hanna Alberto was the top individual for the Bearkats finishing in fourth place. She shot 76 on Tuesday and finished three shots out of the lead.

Sam Houston also placed three other golfers in the top 20 with Viera Permata Rosada finishing in a tie for 10^th at 8-over par for the tournament. Jennifer Herbst a shot back in 15^th place and Zulaikah Nurziana Nasser was 11-over for the tournament and in a tie for 20^th. Leah Alberto rounded out the scoring for the Bearkats at 15-over and 32^nd place.

The Bearkats will be back in action this weekend at Riverbend Country Club for the HBU Husky Invitational.
